Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. After moving to Oxfordshire in the age group of five, Emma enrolled at The Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she made the decision to be an actor. She was trained for many years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. When she was ten, she was performing and taking the role of lead in a number of Stagecoach productions as well as school plays. Casting began in 1999 with the casting process for Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the movie adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Emma was discovered by agent through her Oxford teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were selected as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film appearance came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. It was also the most successful film in 2001. The first weekday and weekend revenues were record-breaking. Critics praised the film and the acting performances of the three acclaimed young actors. The Daily Telegraph, an important British newspaper, called Emma's performances "amazing". Emma's performance was nominated, and she earned her five awards afterward in the film.
